Barbie and Me
When I was a child I had a wild imagination, there were many toys that helped me express this but there was one in particular that really helped me, Barbie. I had so many different Barbie’s that I would make each room in my home a different town for them! This had me busy for weeks! If I had to imagine me as a child not playing with Barbie’s I’m not sure what would have interested me as much. I started building doll houses, and sewing my own made clothes for them. These things not only were enjoyable to me as a child but also helped me gain skills as an adult. Barbie, to many people may seem like something bad, but just the whole concept of having a doll isn’t so much. It keeps children occupied and as for me as a child, I had Barbie’s and Ken’s of many different ethnicities. From Barbie I went onto other things such as playing with my boy cousin’s wrestlers, and all different kinds of toys. Children need to express themselves and have fun, that’s what Barbie was all about to me and that’s why I am going to buy Barbie for my children too.
