Is it really what it seems?

Everyday we sit in class and we analyze these films and television shows that are meant for entertainment. We try to break them down and analyze why these shoes are the way they are. However if you look at something that is fiction such as a TV show that is meant for entertainment then how can you realistically analyze it? Are these things really what they are, or are we just over analyzing and trying to find a meaning out of nothing. Sure, people can make claims, but it is one thing whether it is reality or not. I think we should be more objective when making analysis.
