Stereotypical America

Stereotypical America Here in America we have many different forms of comedy, the main form being television. With all of the channels on TV people have many options between what they want to watch. Even with many options though, there are many many funny shows. One thing that these shows consist of though are many stereotypes. There are some shows that use stereotypes as funny and some who just have them implanted. People watching these shows are learning these stereotypes because they understand them and laugh. Next they go into society and see these people, keeping in mind these stereotypes. One show that has many stereotypes is one named Family Guy. This show makes fun of most cultures or races and it is very popular. It has friends making fun of friends but in reality what are we all doing? Then we have shows that are made with all types of characters, rich,poor, even middle class. What we do here is have to make the character so have to maybe exaggerate their parts. If there is a stay at home mom, she's got to have a nice kitchen, and if a family they must have a home, is this the reality though? Do rich/poor people really act in those ways? Those of us who haven't seen it may believe it to be that way.
