Other Faces of Racism

I still cannot believe that racism is so prominent in today's society, even though it has been about 50 something years since the civil rights movement. But it's not just in America, it happens all over the world and people just stand by and let it happen. I have particular disgust for the Greek political party, Golden Dawn. Golden Dawn is a right-wing extremist neo-nazi/ fascist party that is gaining significant pull in Greece despite the country's chaotic state. But no one seems to know about them nor care that a political party over in Europe has these veiws. Last time a country was in horrible state and a Fascist party saved them, we had one of the most violent wars in history. Racism and prejudice have many faces, we just need to be aware of them. We need to end racist thought in America, and all over the world just to prove to people that this type of thought process will not be tolerated.
