As a Community fan i had never paid much attention to Inspector Spacetime when watching the show. It was of little significance to me, shows like that don't really hold any appeal. But after talking about what a huge deal it was today in class i had to look a little more at exactly what people were going so crazy about.
Oh my God. So many websites claiming that this show is real. If i didn't know better i would assume that this is a real show. One website had quotes from dialog on a show, another claimed that it had been running since 1962! This is absurd.
I noted to myself this morning that there was an entire episode devoted to an Inspector Spacetime convention not too long ago, i can only imagine the reaction that brought to the fans of the "show". Which is nice to know that Community is thanking the people who worked so hard to keep the show on the air. It shows that the producers care about the fans. This is what is so amazing about the media experience these days. So many people can take one minor idea and turn it into something so complex and innovative.
