The Way I See It

I think it's important to look back on what i have gained from this class. Looking at media in a critical way is so important, and a skill i did not have before taking this class. I think some people may not understand why it is so important to look at media critically. But i think it is one of the most important things you should do. These are the things that are influencing you every day, these shows are the things many people use to tell them what is normal and what is correct. This is what is shaping and mirroring our society. To look at media critically is to look at yourself critically. It is important to understand what you are allowing yourself to see and believe, even if you do not realize you are letting these things shape you. Be a participant in what you let yourself believe.
