Women of the Inauguration
Well needless to say this blog entry was a bit more difficult then the others. I noticed a few different things during President Obamas Inauguration. From a feminist point of view it is very interesting to see how involved all the women were in the process. There was the women who swore Biden into office, Beyonce performing, and all the way to the first lady. The first lady Michelle is such an inspiration for women around the world. She helps so many causes at the same time she looks presentable and professional. She is a healthy role model for the women of America. Also, if you noticed the events coordinator was a woman which was brought to my attention in my PR class. She was in charge of the planning for the inauguration. That is amazing in itself. Talk about a great view for the feminist analysis. Their was some dispute about Beyonce singing, or should I say lip syncing. Many thought that out of respect that is not something that should have been done. This can definitely be taken in a negative way from a feminist view. There are so many things you can talk about. Whether the inspiration of the first lady or the upset about the lip syncing. There is so much a feminist point of view can argue.
