The End is Here

With the end of this class drawing nearer and nearer it is important to think about what this class has taught and how we will use it in our further education or if it is senior year for some of you, how you would use it in your life after college? This class has taught me to analyze not everything, but most things I see on TV. I believed that "nothing is ever exactly as it seems" before entering this class but leaving now I am even more convinced of that idea. Each aspect of media we encountered and discussed had a hidden gem that brought a new weeks worth of thoughts and idea's about TV; that we as humans watch or encounter at least once a day. This class really teaches you how the media influences certain topics such as race, politics and even who we are as people/ who we try to be. I would recommend this class to anyone and everyone. This class has brought my scholarly thoughts to a new level of in depth knowledge on many topics and I enjoyed each new topic we discussed in class, but one thing is for sure; no one needs to watch the Kardashians.
